The waitress is unable to explain what the food consists of; When asked which potatoes were homemade or store-bought, she answered “normal.” Dirty dishes

We had dinner for our last day in Scotland and couldn't have picked a better location. Food was delicious and our server Ged really made our experience special. 10/10.

Great setting and a convenient pitstop for a walk along the river but the food prices and portions made even this Londoner raise his eyebrows. Two small (but admittedly delicious) sliders plonked on a bare plate without chips / salad for £13.5... Service was fine.

We enjoyed an evening meal at this restaurant and the service was outstanding! Nothing was too much trouble! The food was beautifully presented and we both really enjoyed our starters and our mains. We can highly recommend the modules and the chicken livers and bacon for the starters. Our main courses were delicious and I can recommend the grilled chicken with button mushrooms and chips. A wonderful experience!

Very disappointing. We were looking forward to a lunch in the sunshine at a 4 star restaurant and dining experience. Unfortunately, food was not of good quality and it was overpriced for what we got. Service was all over the place and we struggled to order and to pay with the lack of service. We were basically forgotten about. We will not be back and will not recommend the outside lunch menu to friends.

We had lunch. Atmosphere and service is great but for the food itself we were expecting more for the price. Portions were slightly smaller than other restaurants. Langoustines flavour/freshness was medium and dish came without the garlic bread. We had two sticky toffee pudding and both sponges became tough after cooling, which obviously was not fresh and microwaved.

I've eaten here 2 or 3 times now and each time the food has been lovely. At the end of November 2019 we ate here and had the scallops and the fish of the day. They were both perfectly cooked and seasoned, some of the best fish we have ever eaten.
